Privacy Policy

株式会社Z空 (ZQoo inc.) sets out how information is handled in TrailPing Signal as follows. Effective November 1, 2026. The app has no account.

What stays on the device

• Location. While recording is on, your current location, its accuracy, and elevation are saved on this device in pins and in the track. Recording continues while the screen is locked, so Location is set to Always. Precise Location is used as well. If you turn recording off, or turn Location off in iOS Settings, the app stops using it.
• Signal status. When a pin is saved, the app stores whether cellular service is available and, where it can tell, the radio type such as LTE or 5G. It does not collect signal strength itself.
• Whether you are walking or standing still. While you are stopped, this is used to space out location updates.
• Heading. While the HUD is open, it is used to show the direction to a pin.
• Map files you have downloaded.
• Notifications. The notification that your signal is back is created only on the device.

These records are not sent to servers operated by 株式会社Z空. A GPX file is handed off only when you choose to share it, through the sharing feature on the device.

What is sent and received

• The map catalog and map files. Before you leave, you download a regional map distributed by 株式会社Z空. The operator that delivers the file processes the IP address of the connection. Your location and pins are not included in this request.
• Purchases. If you buy maps outside Japan, Apple charges the price and issues the receipt. To check the purchase status, RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user ID and purchase information. This ID is not a TrailPing Signal account. Location, pins, and tracks are not sent to RevenueCat.

Apple, RevenueCat, and the operator that delivers the maps do not use this information for advertising tracking beyond what is described here. 株式会社Z空 allows them to handle it only if they protect it to the same standard as this privacy policy and Apple’s review requirements.

株式会社Z空 does not track you for advertising. No analytics SDK is included.

Retention and deletion

Pins, tracks, and downloaded maps stay on the device until you delete them in the app or delete the app. Servers operated by 株式会社Z空 do not store pins or tracks. To ask for deletion of the anonymous ID used to check purchases, write to support.trailping@gmail.com.

Withdrawing consent

You can turn off Location and Notifications in iOS Settings. When you turn recording off, the app stops using your location. Using maps outside Japan does not require Location permission.

This app is not directed at children.
